• On Nov. 17, Willowbrook High School senior Arianna Sanchez participated in the Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) / ArtConnectED Art Throwdown competition and earned 2nd place in the photography category.

• Senior Keith Harris has been named as an All-State Musician by the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA). Harris has been selected as a member of the All-State Chorus.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
 

• Willowbrook High School's Wind Ensemble and Concert/Symphonic Band competed in the Midwest Band Festival at Lemont High School. Both groups performed two pieces and earned 1st-place ratings.

• Five Willowbrook High School students displayed their artwork during the Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) in Chicago. See the results and awards won at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/14751.

Athletic achievements:

• On April 27, Willowbrook hosted a Spring College Signing Day for 13 seniors, who have committed to play their sport at the collegiate level -- Elizabeth Bruschuk, Volleyball, Saginaw Valley State University; Grace Hayes, Softball, Elmhurst University; Rachael Klamecki, Soccer, Milwaukee School of Engineering; Alex Kuban, Soccer, Illinois Institute of Technology; Lucas Kusmierz, Football, Carthage College; Katie Linnig, Volleyball, University of Missouri -- St. Louis; Rocco Luczak, Football, Ripon College; Izabelle Manning, Soccer, Purdue University Northwest; Max Manning. Football, North Central College; Richard Popo, Baseball, Dominican University; Marquel Saleek. Basketball, University of Mary; Alex Simmons, Track & Field, Purdue University Northwest; Maxwell Vaisvila, Baseball, Loras College

• On Nov. 10, Willowbrook High School hosted a National Letter of Intent Signing Day for four seniors, who have committed to play their sport at the collegiate level -- Caitlyn Kulczyski, Softball at Stetson University; Kayla Neff, Softball at Concordia College; Sophia Sullivan, Basketball at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville; Daniela Trimper, Ice hockey at Buffalo State College.

Theater productions:

• Fall Musical -- "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

• Winter Play -- "Doctor Cerberus"

• Spring Play -- "Good People"

Principal's reflections on the Class of 2022:

The Class of 2022 maximized every opportunity as they returned to in-person school full time. They have served as the leaders of our building, encouraging all students to engage in and out of the classroom throughout the school year. Their legacy will be felt for years to come.
