DAR Plants 'Never Forget Garden' at Barrington's Evergreen CemeteryJun 8, 2022 11:06 AM - Barrington, IL-based Signal Hill Chapter, NSDAR, partnering with the Society of the Honor Guard of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in observing the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C., planted a "Never Forget Garden." The Chapter's Patriot Project Chair, Shenan Constantino, worked with Barrington's Evergreen Cemetery to lay the marker and plant a white tea rose named, JF Kennedy. Evergreen Cemetery donated the piece of land within the Veterans' section and the Chapter placed the marker and rose.

Dragon Patrol Wins Cardboard RegattaJun 8, 2022 11:06 AM - The Dragon Patrol of BSA Scouts Troop 209 in Palatine worked together as a team to design and build their race vessel for the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. Good fortune was on their side the evening of June 7th when their boat came in first place in the race held at the Family Aquatic Center.
