Addison Elementary District 4 recently held its annual "Science Fun Night," inviting local scientists and science teachers to come out to Indian Trail Junior High School and teach students and their families all about different facets of science.

Each scientist puts on a different, hands-on experiment for students and families to participate in, ranging from learning about animals in our nearby forest preserve, building a functional kaleidoscope, and studying air speed velocity through creating homemade parachutes.
