Clearbrook's Love-A-Bowl, in its second year, promises an afternoon of family fun and good times -- all for a good cause.

The fundraising event will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Bowlero, 350 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove.

Clearbrook is essential to the lives of an at-risk population. The organization empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to embrace their potential.

The Arlington Heights-based nonprofit is one of the only organizations to deliver services in a multifaceted way, covering all ages, issues, and levels of severity.

"We wanted to create an event that focuses on family and community, two things that are integral to our organization," said Anthony Di Vittorio, Clearbrook president and CEO.

"Our staff becomes family to our individuals and vice versa. We're so excited to bring people together. Especially for one of our individuals' favorite activities."
