First United Methodist Church and Zion United Methodist Church welcome members of the Hampshire and surrounding communities to gather for worship and give thanks.

First United Methodist Church of Hampshire, 207 Grove Ave., will host the service at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, followed by refreshments.

The Rev. Jenny R. Weber, who became pastor of the two United Methodist congregations in July, wants all to feel welcome regardless of denomination or faith background.

"This is an opportunity to gather with our neighbors and friends to give thanks to the Creator for all of our many blessings," Weber said. "In this time of economic uncertainty and political division, this is a chance to put all of our differences aside and come together as we prepare for the holiday season."

Weber and her congregations hope those who are interested in this community gathering will join them.
