Hanover Haunts at Izaak Walton Reserve on Oct. 28

The Hanover Township Department of Youth & Family Services will debut Hanover Haunts at the Izaak Walton Youth Center & Reserve, 899 Jay St., Elgin, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28. Youth are invited to participate in games and crafts.

 

The haunted trail will be open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The trail is intended for youth 13 and older. Costumes are encouraged. No registration is required for this free event.

"We truly have something for everyone to get in the Halloween spirit," said Tina Houdek, Youth & Family Services director. "Our staff and volunteer actors have been working for weeks on props, costumes and displays for a frightening night of fun."
