Businesses and the community recently gathered to welcome the new UPS Store, 288 Hawthorn Village Commons, Vernon Hills, at a complimentary grand open/ribbon cutting celebration.

Attendees including GLMV Chamber of Commerce President Scott Adams, Mike Storto of the village of Vernon Hills, Gino Bavaro of Bavaro Hair Salon, and other local business owners and leaders received a behind-the-scenes facility tour by owner Hemant Kapoor along with family and team.

Kapoor said customers familiar with The UPS Store will quickly notice that this location looks different. The store has opened with the new, more contemporary and modern retail design that The UPS Store introduced earlier.

"As a one-stop shop for small businesses, we offer printing and design services, shredding, mail and package receiving and, of course, packing and shipping. We are excited to be a new chamber and community member, and look forward to serving individuals and local business owners," he said.
