This week at a surprise award ceremony, a Chicago caregiver from BrightStar Care of Naperville received the Regional Midwest Caregiver of the Year Award from BrightStar Care.

Bridgete Biggs was nominated by her client's mother for her commitment to their family over the last three years and her ability to go beyond what is expected in providing personal in-home care for the young nonverbal autistic boy. Bridgete and her client have a special bond; she is one of the few people who can make him smile and knows how to comfort him during difficult times. Bridgete provides her client with professional, unparalleled care even on his most challenging days. Bridgete's empathy and profound knowledge of the caregiving space are showcased in her commitment to providing the highest quality care.

In Fall 2022, BrightStar Care will announce its national Caregiver and Nurse of the Year award winners at its annual conference.
