Rosary High School to host March 28 program on adolescent mental health

On Monday, March 28, Rosary High School in Aurora is hosting a presentation for area parents titled "Your Child's Mental Health is Important" at 6:30 p.m. To reserve your spot, visit www.rosaryhs.com.

This presentation will focus on transitioning to a post-pandemic world, and how parents can help their adolescents become strong, responsible, and mature young adults.

 

The presenter is Dr. Patricia Francis, O.P., a licensed clinical psychologist and director of counseling services for the Central DuPage Pastoral Counseling Center. Sister Pat is also a Springfield Dominican Sister, the order that sponsors Rosary High School.

Sr. Pat Francis holds a PsyD from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago; an M.A. from Sangamon State University (HD Counseling with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy); an M.A. from Creighton University in Christian Spirituality with practicums in spiritual direction and retreat work; and a B.A. from Quincy University in Elementary Education with a minor in English.

Earlier in the day, Sister Pat Francis will address the Rosary students in an assembly.
