• Understanding Home Equity Loans


Learn about home equity loans from 7 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, via Zoom. Financial Wellness educator Marlen Glenn will discuss the difference between a fixed and a variable line of credit and when each would be a good option.

• Maintaining Finances

Finances can be overwhelming and time-consuming. Join KCT Credit Union from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, at the Gail Borden Library South Elgin Branch, 127 S. McLean Blvd., for this helpful program. Learn about some options to make maintaining your finances easier and help you stay within your budget and spending plan.

• Credit Score Basics

Financial Wellness educator Marlen Glenn will present the basics that can help you establish, improve and maintain your credit score from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, at the main library, 270 N. Grove Ave., Elgin.
