Campers in first to eighth grade will embark on interactive learning adventures and explore science, art, history, and more at Naper Settlement's 16 themed "Camp Naper" summer day camps.

At Camp Naper, which runs from June 6 through Aug. 3, children will enjoy hands-on educational activities while strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Registration for the three-, four- and five-day camps begins Thursday, Feb. 17. To view the list of camps and register, visit NaperSettlement.org/CampNaper.

"Our campers will explore our 13-acre campus while learning about the animal kingdom, discovering the science behind magic tricks, cracking secret codes, and adventuring into the past," said Jackie Maronic. "Through hands-on activities, kids will enjoy a summer of discovery and fun while developing friendships and building new skills."

Naper Settlement's list of camps this summer includes nine new offerings. All camps provide leveled activities for younger and older campers. Highlights this summer include:

• Ag Camp (June 6-10): Campers will learn about the agricultural past of our community, start their own garden, and learn about the innovative technology keeping farms going in the 21st century.
