Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity invites future homeowners to online orientation

Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity will hold three online orientation meetings for persons interested in becoming Habitat homeowners.

The meetings will be in English via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27; and 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28. It also will be offered on Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Attending a meeting is the first required step to becoming a Habitat homeowner.

Requirements and qualifications for being accepted as a partner family will be explained and application forms will be available upon request.

To be considered for Habitat homeownership, individuals or families must meet four criteria: a need for adequate housing, ability to pay a mortgage, residence within Kane County and the willingness to partner with Fox Valley Habitat in construction of their home.
