Naperville's Holiday Parade of Lights returns Nov. 26 with new hosts, after one-year hiatus

The Rotary Club of Naperville is hosting the 2021 Holiday Parade of Lights in partnership with the Downtown Naperville Alliance.

This annual event, previously hosted by Little Friends, is back after taking the year off due to the pandemic.

 

The parade will travel through the heart of downtown Naperville at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26 under the beautiful twinkling lights.

The parade route starts at Jackson Avenue and Mill Street, heads east to Webster Street, turns north on Webster to Van Buren Avenue and ends at Naper Elementary School.

Parade-goers will enjoy an evening of festivities, brightly lit floats, and Santa Claus will appear.

Immediately following the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with kids inside the Naperville Public Library Nichols Library, 200 W. Jefferson Ave., until 9 p.m.

The 2021 Parade of Lights is a fundraiser operated by Rotary Club of Naperville Charities.

All net proceeds will go to Naperville area nonprofits who support the community in meaningful ways by providing:

• Food, housing and job security;

• Mental health awareness;

• Victims of child and domestic abuse;

• Community programs for at-risk youth.
