Barrington FilliesCoach: Jason Loeffler

Last season's finish: Mid-Suburban League champions

Top returning gymnasts: Sofia Rosenzweig, Jr, (all-around), Ember Sennett, Jr, (all-around), Anika Patel, Jr, (all-around), Adrianna Merzyn, soph., (all events except vault), Ellie Marquis, Jr (all-around)

Top new gymnasts: Cici Sennett, soph., (all-around)

Outlook: The defending conference-champion Fillies have a strong group of returning gymnasts. "They are a small, tightknit group of girls that are ready for a successful season," Loeffler said. "What impresses me the most is what they individually bring to the team to make them a whole." Loeffler has been impressed with the progress of the Sennett and Rosenzweig, in particular out of the gates. "Cici is so powerful, and Ember has the drive to always be better," he said. "Sophia is just a well-balanced gymnast." In Barrington's 137.3-114.75 win over Wheeling late last week, Rosenzweig won the all-around at 34.6, while Patel was second at 33.4 and Ember Sennett was third at 33.3. Barrington scored a 37.0 as a team on floor in that meet.
