The League of Women Voters Arlington Heights-Mount Prospect-Buffalo Grove-Wheeling-Prospect Heights-Elk Grove Village is apologizing for mistakenly scheduling a forum for candidates in the 54th state House race for Wednesday, which is Yom Kippur.

In agreement with the candidates, Republican Michelle Hunter and Republican Mary Beth Canty, the forum has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 25.

The registration link can be found at www.lwvah.org and https://tinyurl.com/5yr3242c. The public is welcome to register for the free event to listen to the candidates and submit questions for discussion.

The forum will be moderated by Prospect High School sophomore Em Pawlak and hosted by sophomore Isabelle Gaby. It is part of three candidate forums hosted by League of Women Voters AH-MP-BG leading up to the elections.

The 54th District includes parts of Arlington Heights, Palatine, Prospect Heights and Mount Prospect.
