Members of Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake are hosting their annual Spring Rummage/Estate Sale on Friday, May 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church has held semiannual sales for the past several years in the spring and the fall. Many in the community look forward to each sale, in seeking out their treasure or necessities.

With the help of overwhelming donations from members' homes and others who are downsizing, these events have proved to be successful fundraisers each year -- while helping others with their spring cleaning.

There are many household items for everyone's use -- for your kitchen, bedroom, living room, many furniture items, Precious Moments statues (in their boxes), jewelry, books, children's toys and games, outdoor equipment, tools and more.

Many items are $1 and the popular "Fill-A-Bag for $5" with men's, women's and children's clothing will also be available.

There will be a half-price sale of most items, including furniture, starting at noon Saturday.

Proceeds will be used for building repairs, leaks, etc. that Grace hasn't been able to address in the past two years.

Grace Lutheran Church is located at 5N600 Hanson Road, just north of Route 64 and east of Route 47, just off Empire Road in St. Charles. Use the parking lot at the rear entrance to church for ease of accessibility. For information, visit www.graceoflilylake.com.
