Ginger Zee, ABC-TV's chief meteorologist, will discuss her new book "A Little Closer to Home" in a virtual event copresented locally by Anderson's Bookshop at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.

"A Little Closer to Home" is a follow up to Zee's earlier book, "Natural Disaster," and delves into Zee's stormy childhood and her ongoing struggles with depression.

 

Autographed books are offered for this special event.

Tickets that include a book purchase are $42 (shipped to directly to buyer) or $32 (buyer must pick up item from Anderson's Bookshop in Downers Grove or Naperville). A sans-book ticket is $10. Tickets are available online at eventcombo.com.
