Fireside chat with Sen. Melinda Bush set for Sept. 18

State Sen. Melinda Bush, a Democrat from Grayslake, is the guest at the next Fireside Chat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83.

The center regularly hosts these sessions bringing county, state, and federal officials closer to local residents. The evenings begin with a meet and greet, followed by an informal discussion between the featured guest, Mayor Richard Hill and guest moderators, and then a question-and-answer session. Coffee and desserts are provided at no charge.
