Representatives of the Camping World store in Island Lake want to expand the business at 4450 Darrell Road, but on Thursday night they asked the village board for money to help them accomplish the task. Plans call for a call center, and the store representatives said installing high-speed Internet cables will cost $18,000. They asked officials to cover some of that cost but didn't specify how much. No decision was made Thursday night, but officials seemed open to investigating the request.
