Postal workers food drive a huge help

Posted5/19/2014 5:01 AM

A big thank you to the Barrington Post Office for their continued support of the Barrington Township Food Pantry!

Each year the Barrington Post Office has an area-wide food drive and we have been fortunate to be recipients of their labors.

Although they are performing their regular duties, in addition once a year the individuals who deliver our mail are asked to pick up food at their various locations given by our very giving residents to benefit those in need.

We are very lucky to live in the communities we do and especially those within Barrington Township who contribute each year to this project.

We look forward to working with the Post Office again next year as we have the past number of years and thank them for their efforts of not only delivering the mail but collecting donated food.
