May 25, 2022 2:51 PM - Wheat for Jul. was off 6.50 cents at $11.4825 a bushel; Jul. corn was up .50 cent at $7.7225 a bushel, Jul. oats rose 12.50 cents $6.8075 a bushel; while Jul. soybeans fell 12 cents at $16.81 a bushel. Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Jun. live cattle was off .42 cent at $1.3230 a pound; May feeder cattle rose .10 cent at $1.5460 a pound; while Jun. lean hogs was up .03 cent at $1.0905 a pound.

May 25, 2022 9:55 AM - CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Jul. declined 57 cents at $11.2425 a bushel; May corn lost 16 cents at $7.5975 a bushel; Jul. oats was up 4 cents at $6.6675 a bushel; while Jul. soybeans fell 12 cents at 6.7025 a bushel. Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Abbott reopening Michigan plant to start producing EleCare
May 25, 2022 6:28 AM - Abbott Laboratories is reopening its Sturgis, Mich., manufacturing plant on June 4 after it was shut down in February due to reports linking baby formula made at the plant to infant illnesses and deaths. The North Chicago-based company said it's prioritizing producing EleCare, an amino-acid formula designed for infants and children with severe food allergies or gastrointestinal disorders.
