Cary-Grove Chamber hosts ribbon cutting for new location of Crossfit AMRAP

On Saturday, June 4, the Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new location of Crossfit AMRAP, 760 Industrial Drive, Ste. B, Cary.

Crossfit AMRAP began 12 years ago at their original location in Lake in the Hills. The new location in Cary has twice the space of their original location. Owner Javier Babin and the team at Crossfit AMRAP believe in a community-based and personal approach to a healthy lifestyle. They have different workouts comprised of simple body-weight and free-weight movements

 

Babin has been doing Crossfit since 2013 and is a certified CrossFit Level I Trainer, and USA Weightlifting Certified.

"Good health is a product of good habits," says Babin, "Put your energy and effort into the health and wellness you truly desire. Create the right habits, surround yourself around supportive people, and have fun doing it."

Crossfit AMRAP offers a varied workout of the day, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), weight training, and cardio via biking, rowing, and skiing. The first week is free to new members, and they offer discounts to families, college students, service members and first responders.
