The Schwabe Group as part of Compass Real Estate, and the Village of Arlington Heights, have announced that the residential real estate team will be the presenting sponsor for the Village's 2022 Sounds of Summer concert series.

A long-standing tradition in the Village, this year's Sounds of Summer concert series will feature 12 free outdoor and family-friendly concerts in Harmony Park. Concerts will begin at 7 p.m., on Thursday and Friday evenings, June 16 through July 29, excluding June 30 and July 1.

"We are honored to be the presenting sponsor for this great family tradition in our community," said The Schwabe Group founder David Schwabe. "Our entire team is excited to establish this relationship with the village and we are thrilled to help make this series possible for everyone in Arlington Heights."

With the temporary closure of Vail Avenue, adjacent to Harmony Park as a part of the Arlington Alfresco dining experience, space for concert seating has been expanded. Attendees can bring chairs, blankets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during the concerts, or dine in one of the many local restaurants surrounding the park.

"The Schwabe Group reached out immediately to inquire about sponsorship. The agreement came together very quickly and efficiently, and they've been very enthusiastic and a great partner to collaborate with," said Avis Meade, Communications and Outreach Coordinator for the Village of Arlington Heights. "I think everyone is ready to get outside, listen to some music, and reconnect with their neighbors and friends. We're definitely looking forward to a great Sounds of Summer season."
