Holy Family Catholic Community, Inverness, invites all to join on a spiritual journey that continues forward on Jan. 9, at all Masses.

Called "Adventures in Grace: A pilgrimage," and kicked off last fall, the program is free and open to all who want to explore and deepen their faith.

Through a series of regularly scheduled Masses, shared Wednesday evening "adventures" filled with song, ritual, evocative presentations and periodic "rest stops," participants will explore ways to define and deepen their faith, both individually and collectively.

"This unique adventure is a result of our staff's planning and response to a need for spiritual renewal in our community and beyond. The continuing pandemic, along with political and social justice issues, has brought challenges such as separation and anxiety," said Fr. Terry Keehan, pastor at Holy Family. "I think we would all agree that we need to heighten our awareness of the grace that can manifest when we become more aware of it and seek what it has to offer in these turbulent times."

People can join "Adventures in Grace: A pilgrimage" at any time and can participate in person, online via live-streamed sessions and periodic Zoom gatherings. The program will culminate at Pentecost 2022 with a "Homecoming" grand finale celebration.

Participants are encouraged to bring family members and friends along on the journey, and special modules and activities will be provided for children, teens, and young adults. In addition, specially trained "Grace Guides" will escort participants along the way, providing ongoing support, information, and inspiration.
