Palatine Area Chamber hosts virtual Key to Success event

The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Key to Success holiday and awards event, which will take place virtually from 7-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, on Zoom.

Key to Success honors local businesses, organizations and individuals who have demonstrated leadership and made significant contributions to the Palatine community over the past year. Dinner and wine will be included in the event; registration and sponsorships are currently being sought.

 

"We are thrilled to be hosting our Key to Success awards event despite the uncertainty we have all experienced over the past several months," said Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Steven Gaus.

"While we are hosting the event virtually due to the pandemic, it's still important we honor individuals, businesses and organizations who have persevered in light of the many challenges."

New award categories have been added this year and include four awards for individuals, five for businesses and one for nonprofit organizations. Awards include Community Organization of the Year, New Business of the Year, Youth Rising Star, and others. A complete listing of awards and descriptions can be found at ktspalatine.com.

The deadline to register to attend is Monday, Nov. 30.

The cost to attend this virtual event is $50 for Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce members and $60 for nonmembers, which includes red or white wine and dinner options provided by Gianni's, Agio or Cafe 14.

The deadline to become a sponsor is Monday, Nov. 30.

Sponsors for this event are currently being sought. There are a range of options available at different price points and provides a variety of promotional opportunities for area businesses.
