The Streamwood Womans' Club has been hard at work. We have been in existence for more than 50 years. Not only are they a social club, but they are also a Non-for-Profit Philanthropic club. Through our major fundraisers; 12th Annual Spring in Bloom Floral Design Showcase, bake sales at the Easter Egg Hunt, Gingerbread House Raffle and Dining for Dollars events and many more, for the Year 2017 -- 2018, the club has raised $7,400 for the area. For this year, the charities that have been chosen by the club are: Hanover Township Food Pantry, Hanover Township Youth and Family -- Open Gym Program, Streamwood Police -- D.A.R.E. Program, Streamwood High School -- Drama Department, Gigi Playhouse, W.I.N.G.S. and Scholarships for a graduating senior resident of Streamwood.
