Girls volleyball: West Aurora rebounds, beats Batavia

In a hard fought match for Batavia (9-19), the two big hitters for West Aurora (20-9) proved to be just a bit too much to handle in a 25-20, 25-17 Blackhawks win.

Chloe Myers led West Aurora (20-9) with 9 kills 1 ace, 2 blocks and 2 digs, Olivia McPherson added 6 kills, 2 aces and 5 digs, and Kiara McPherson finished with 13 assists, 1 ace and 1 dig.

Lauren Haefner had 8 kills for the Bulldogs, Becca Robinson finished with 20 assists and 6 digs, Sam Juarez added 6 digs, and Ali Northrop led the defense with 2 blocks.

Jacobs d. Dundee-Crown 25-20, 25-22: Rachel Kaczorow led the offense for Jacobs with 22 assists, and Maggie Wallenberger added 13 kills. Jordyn Kelly finished with 12 digs for the Golden Eagles. Jenna Brown led Dundee-Crown (2-19, 0-14) with 13 assists, 6 digs and 4 kills.

Crystal Lake Central d. Crystal Lake South 25-16, 25-13: McKenzie Wilson had 14 assists for Crystal Lake South (9-15, 4-10). Jamie Maul had 9 digs, and Jessie Proszenyak finished with 6 kills for the Gators.
