The sixth annual Junior Tour de Naperville, presented by Russell Martin, is coming to Commissioners Park on Saturday, Aug. 11. Hosted by the Naperville Park District, it gives kids, age 3-10, the opportunity to ride their bicycles, big wheels or tricycles around the 1.2-mile trail, cheered on by family and friends.

Alma Dance Theater will hold auditions for "The Nutcracker" on Sunday, Aug. 26. It will be an open audition which means that dancers who are not from Alma Dance School are also invited to participate.

The brief ceremony will include a welcome from Library Director Christine Lazaris, an overview of the new library project from Library Board President Robert Shiffler, and a community welcome from Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns.
