Aurora man sentenced for child sex assault

An Aurora man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child,
Rene Tux Ico, 29, of the 400 block of Hinman Street, plead guilty Thursday to aggravated criminal sexual assault of a child, according to a news release Friday from the Kane County state's attorney's office.
Tux Ico must serve at least 85% of his sentence, though he will receive credit for the 621 days he has spent in Kane County jail since his arrest. He must also register as a sex offender for life.
"I hope the victim feels justice has been done," said Kane County Assistant State's Attorney Lori Schmidt said in news the release."
