Aurora University museum studies students have created an exhibit, "Face the Fox: Environmental Activists on the Fox River," at Little White School Museum in Oswego.

AU "Exhibit Design" students will host an open house launching the display from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the Roger Matile Room, 72 Polk St. The exhibit will be on display through Aug. 4.

The students spent months in the museum's collections to create the exhibit honoring the late Jim Phillips of Oswego. Exploits by the junior high school biology teacher under the name of The Fox called attention to local pollution problems.

A memorial to Phillips is at Violet Patch Park, 1425 Route 25, Oswego. For details, call (630) 554-2999 or visit littlewhiteschoolmuseum.org.
