Members of the sheriff's Gang Task Force and Zion police arrested Windom after serving a search warrant at his residence Friday and locating 260 grams of heroin, more than 180 grams of cocaine, more than 220 grams of marijuana and a firearm, authorities said.

Windom, who was released after posting $250,000 bail, is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

In an announcement of the arrest, Sheriff John Idleburg said the Gang Task Force is actively pursuing suspected drug dealers.

"I couldn't have made my warnings to drug pushers any clearer -- if you think you can sell your deadly poisons in our community, you're wrong," he said.
