Open house about Diamond Lake

Mundelein officials will hold a public open house Tuesday night to discuss the future of the Diamond Lake area. The gathering is set for 7 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle. The discussion is part of the village's efforts to update its comprehensive development plan. Village leaders already are planning to raze buildings on the southeast side of the lake to create a new public park and a new view for passersby and residents.
