How many squirrel species live in Lake County? Stop by from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21 at the Edward L. Ryerson Welcome Center in Riverwoods for squirrel trivia, touch table, crafts and a hike using Project Squirrel to become a citizen scientist. All ages are welcome. This is a drop-in program and registration is not required. The fee is $2 for residents and $4 for nonresidents. Adult supervision required. The Welcome Center is at 21950 North Riverwoods Road.
