The robins made a nest on my downspout gutter. 3 baby robins started popping up their heads when either parent would bring a worm to eat. I think the robin was deciding which of the 3 to give it to. Is is quite enjoyable to see the mom and pop robin taking care of their newborns. I would title this (Lunch Time).

I took this picture at the Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford's Riverfront Park on Mother's Day. Many orchids and tropical type plants in the building. I liked the way a sunbeam acted like a spotlight for this orchid leaving it's background in the dark.

An alligator and a turtle share the same platform at the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina in March. You have to wonder whether they were just sunning together or if one was planning on lunch later.

I took this photo at the Morton Arboretum a few days ago. I believe this is a bloom from a Magnolia tree. I love using my macro lens to bring out the amazing detail of the stamens which I was able to capture in this photo.
