A time for Dragons

Imagine Dragons' steady assault on airwaves and playlists everywhere started in 2012 with the solid alternative offering "It's Time" and reached a fevered pitch by the time their single "Radioactive" busted out. (You know it. Trust me, you know it.) Walking a fine line between uber-catchy with poppy indie tracks such as "On Top of the World" and harder alternative rock, Imagine Dragons continues turning out strong music and an electrifying stage show. Catch their "Evolve Tour" stop with Grouplove and K.Flay at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., Chicago. Tickets start at $57. (312) 455-4500 or unitedcenter.com. 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18

Shuffled tracks

What I'm listening to this week:

Sleep On It's newest video, "Window," is a sentimental look back, and the song's pretty catchy, too! (Spotify, iTunes)

Over the Sun takes a look at how redemption feels in the soulful "Way Back Home." (Spotify)

Werewolves at Hour 30 just released its first full-length album, "Black Denim." Check out what the soulful groove-rocking guys have been up to. (Spotify)

• While it isn't as iconic as the band's ubiquitous hit "Radioactive," Imagine Dragon's "Demons" is by far my favorite from the band's catalog. (Spotify, iTunes)
