The junior transferred from Carmel Catholic to Warren this year and has become more than a leader with her efforts and ability early in the season. Hamann had a career-best in a North Suburban Conference meet held at Mundelein High School on Wednesday night. She won the all-around with a 37.4. She placed in the top spots on the vault (9.6) and the floor exercise (9.5), second on the balance beam (9.2), and third on bars (9.1).

Wheat for Dec. declined 20.50 cents at $7.7950 a bushel; Dec. corn was up 1.75 cents at $5.8925 a bushel; Mar. oats lost 19.25 cents at $7.29 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans gained 2.25 cents at $12.5525 a bushel. Beef lower and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
