Schaumburg Native's New Christmas Song Comes with a Haunting TwistNov 10, 2020 11:02 AM - Nashville singer and songwriter Brina Kay released her new single "Ghost of Christmas Past" at midnight on Saturday, October 31. Produced by Mike Anderson, a Nashville-based composer and producer, "Ghost of Christmas Past" is currently available on most streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, AmazonMusic, etc.) "Ghost of Christmas Past" was co-written by Kay, Anderson, and fellow artist and songwriter Olivia Frances. The song is loosely based on Charles Dicken's classic tale "A Christmas Carol" and tells the story of a girl whose holidays are haunted by the memory of her lost love. The trio wrote the song around Halloween last year.
